The Main Line

The Main Line, the rail corridor running west out of the city through Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Villanova, and Wayne, is its own quiet market. Pricing here often sits at or above Rittenhouse for established independents, and the format leans heavily toward long-relationship outcall to private residences. Hotels in the corridor (the Radnor, the Wayne Hotel, a handful of Conshohocken business properties) are workable but secondary; the dominant booking geography is residential.
The clientele is older, slower-paced, and significantly more discretion-driven than the city. Booking lead times are longer (three to six weeks ahead is normal), screening is heavier, and same-day bookings essentially don't exist in this market. For visiting clients, the Main Line is rarely the right base; for locals living west of Bala, it's the home turf.
