How moderation works
Every profile and every report is reviewed by a person. This page explains what our moderators look for, how decisions are made, and how the appeals process works.
Pre-publication review
No profile goes live without a review. After verification, the profile is checked against our published guidelines. We look for: photos that match the verification selfie, copy that doesn't make explicit service claims (those belong off-platform), no images that reveal location-identifying details (street signs, license plates, building exteriors), and contact methods that match the verified person.
Most profiles pass review on the first pass. Profiles that don't typically need only small revisions — a different photo, edited copy. The companion is told what needs to change and resubmits.
What gets reported
The most common reports we receive, in rough order of frequency:
- Photos that don't match the live person at the meeting (impersonation).
- Profiles that have gone inactive but haven't been hidden.
- Suspected duplicate or stolen profiles (same photos appearing under different names).
- Behaviour during a booking that violated stated terms.
- Suspected scam profiles using fake photos.
How reports are handled
Every report routes to a human reviewer within 24 hours. The reviewer's first job is triage: is this a safety issue, a policy issue, or a misunderstanding?
Safety issues (impersonation, suspected scam, behavioural reports) are escalated immediately. The profile is hidden pending review while we contact the companion for response. Policy issues (out-of-date photos, copy that drifted from guidelines) get a notice and a 48-hour window to fix. Misunderstandings — most reports — are closed with a brief note back to the reporter.
We don't act on a single anonymous report against an established profile without further evidence; we do act fast on patterns, on first-time-client reports of behavioural issues, and on anything safety-adjacent.
Appeals
If a profile is removed and the companion disagrees with the decision, she can appeal in writing to trust@meetanescort.com within 14 days. Appeals are reviewed by a senior moderator who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to respond within five business days.
What we never do
We don't share reporter identity with reported parties. We don't publish information from reports without the reporter's consent. We don't take payments from companions in exchange for moderation decisions. Profile decisions are based on guidelines and evidence, not on advertising spend or platform tenure.
Reporting a concern
If something feels off — a profile that doesn't match what you encountered, a behavioural concern, a suspected scam — use the report flow at /safety/report. Reports are confidential and reviewed within 24 hours. For immediate danger, call 911.
