Northwest Side

The Northwest Side, the broad corridor running from I-10 west out toward the medical complex and the corporate parks along De Zavala, is a meaningful mid-market residential base. The provider pool here leans more agency-aligned than the Pearl or Alamo Heights. The corridor is also the natural staging area for the western military bases (Lackland in particular).

Hotel base in this corridor is mostly business chains (Westin La Cantera being the upper anchor at the very northern edge). The Northwest Side is rarely the right base for a visitor without a reason to be on this side of the city.
