Touring

Definition

Touring means a provider is traveling to a city they don't normally work in, usually for a few days to a week. You'll see ads that say things like "touring NYC May 15 to 20" which means that provider is only available in that city for that window. Touring providers often book up fast because clients in that city know the visit is temporary. If you see a touring provider you want to meet, book early and be flexible on timing. I loved touring because it let me see new cities while working.
